About "Gold Filled Jewelry": Also called rolled-gold. These jewelry items are not actually filled with gold. They are made of a base metal covered by sheets of gold in a mechanical bonding process. Effectively a thick coat of gold: the industry standard for the gold content is 5% or 1/20 of the total weight. Made with 14k gold, it is hard wearing. With reasonable care it will not peel or flake, and should last as long as solid 14k gold jewelry. It is safe for most people with sensitive skin. With gold-filled jewelry, the process involves mechanically bonding the gold to the core through extreme pressure and heat. It results in a more resilient exterior that’s not prone to flaking or cracking.

Sizing details
Our resizing is done with a torch and some stone cooling goo to keep your stone safe, however, there are certain stones like Opals that are more sensitive to the heat than others. So we don’t always recommend it.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Each ring comes in our cute Opal Dreams recycled boxes and cotton bags ready for gifting! If you’d like additional wrapping, just send us a message when you check out.
Custom and personalized orders
We are currently taking custom orders! Prices start at $120 for simple rings/pendants but go up depending on the intricacy, material, and time it takes. On average we will take anywhere from 1-2 months on custom orders depending upon how many we are doing that month.
Returns
We do accept returns within two weeks of you receiving your order as long as the ring has not been resized! Please just mail back the item and we will refund you once we have received it or provide you with an exchange.

When I first received my ring it wasn’t exactly the shape I was expecting. I messaged Thandie and she was very quick to respond and was very friendly. She explained why my ring looked different (I ordered a very small size which affected the shape of the V) and offered to remake it for no extra charge, and also covered return shipping. She asked a few questions to make sure we were on the same page and then quickly got to work. The second ring was exactly what I had in mind, and it’s very beautiful and dainty, but still feels substantial enough I won’t have to worry about damaging it. I really appreciated her customer service, as well as her craftsmanship! I would definitely recommend ordering from her shop.
